Are you seeking the Lord?

by Evang. Catherine Davis on 08/16/13

"And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Jer.29:13. The only way to find the Lord is with all your heart. You got to have a made up mind, and your heart got to be fixed(fixed toward Jesus). You got to be determined that you'll let nothing separate you from the love of God.

We must seek God first. How do I seek the Lord? How do I look for him? You have to seek God by getting into his Word, praying, meditating on the Word, and listening to what the Holy Spirit is saying to you. When you do this, God will take you to places you could never imagine, and open doors that no man can open and shut doors that no man can shut. That's why it is important to seek God to know his plans for your life.

What is your perspective on This Thought of the Day?
